Admissions to Punjab University No Need for NOC Anymore

According to the official notification, Punjab University withdraw the condition of NOC requirements for admissions in graduate / postgraduate programs from the Higher Education Institute last attended.

In the notification issued by the office of the registrar ( Registration Branch), pursuant to the decision of the syndicate made in a meeting held on 17 December 2022 regarding the adoption of notification No. 15-54/COORD/2019/HEC/SAD/222 the condition for the presentation of the Migration Certificate / NOC issued by the Higher Education Institution last attended as an admission requirement to the graduate /postgraduate programs is hereby withdrawn.

This shall be effective from the date mentioned in the said notification. A copy of the notification is forwarded to the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Chairman Admission Committee, Deans of Faculties, Principals of Constituents Colleges, Directors of Institutes / Centers, Public Relations Officer, Secretary to the Vice – Chancellor, and Secretary to the Registrar.

Earlier students who want admission to Punjab University should be required to provide a No Objection Certificate ( NOC Certificate) from their last attended Institute as proof. But now onwards Punjab University withdraw this condition. Students can apply for Admission to PU without NOC.
