New School Timings in Punjab from 15 April 2024 Official Notification has been issued by Punjab School Education Department on 14th April 2024. The new summer timings for Punjab Schools will be followed from 15 April 2024 to 15th October 2024.
According to this notification, the Competent authority approved Summer Timings for all public & private schools in Punjab.
From 15 April after Eid ul Fitr Vacations School timings are 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Monday to Thursday & Saturday while On Friday School timings will be 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. These timings are for Single Shift Schools.
There will be a difference of 15 Minutes in Boys & Girls schools. Girl’s Schools will start and close 15 minutes before Boy’s Schools. Therefore Girls School will start at 7:45 AM and close on 1:15 PM. For Classes of Prep & Pre Nursery, there will be a total of 3 hours which means their closing time is 11:00 AM.
From 15 April Double Shift School timings are 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Monday to Thursday & Saturday while On Friday School timings will be 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. These timings are for Morning Shifts in Double Shift Schools.
Double Shift School timings are 1:00 PM to 05:30 PM on Monday to Thursday & Saturday while On Friday School timings will be 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. These timings are for Evening Shifts in Double Shift Schools.
