Whatsapp Group Participants Limit increased up to 512 Members

In the latest update, Whatsapp officially announced the increase of participants limit in groups. Now 512 members can be added to a WhatsApp group. Before this only 256 members were allowed.

Whatsapp Official Blog says ” One of the top requests we’ve consistently received is the option to add more people to a chat, so now we’re slowly rolling out the ability to add up to 512 people to a group.”

With this new feature now social media marketing is easy. Before this everyone was limited to 256 members in a single WhatsApp group. So after 256 members company or brand have to make another group and then file sharing etc was more time-consuming.

WhatsApp also increased the number of participants on WhatsApp group calls, which now supports up to 32 participants in group calls. This feature is only limited to the smartphone version.
