UET Announces ECAT 2022 for Admissions 2022

UET University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore has announced ECAT 2022 Schedule. ECAT stands for Engineering Colleges Aptitude Test. ECAT is essential for admission ins Engineering programs offered by UET Lahore, UET Taxila, Punjab University & some other govt institutes in Punjab. Engineering programs include BS Engineering & BSc Engineering.

What is ECAT? A common Entrance Test for admission into B.Sc. Engineering and B.Sc. Engineering Technology Programs of the Punjab would In shaa Allah be conducted in the third week of July. The test center, date, and time for both the Orientation Session and the Entrance Test will be chosen by the candidate and will be printed on his Admit Card.

Test Date of ECAT 2022 by UET Lahore

The Entrance Test will be held from Monday through Friday 18 July 2022 to 22 July 2022i n the given centers at the allotted time.

Who Can Appear In The Entrance Test?

Anyone can take the Entrance Test, however, appearing in the Test does not confer the right to apply for admission to the Engineering and Engineering Technology institutions of Punjab.

How to get ECAT Entrance Test Token Number

The token numbers can be acquired from Entrance Test Tokens available, in the form of scratch cards, from designated HBL branches on payment of Rs.1500/- from 16th May 2022 until 30 June 2022.

Token number can also be obtained online by payment of challan worth Rs.1,500/-, through HBL Konnect or HBL online banking from May 2022 until 30th June 2022. Instructions on getting the payment challan online are available on the admission portal.

Important Dates

The last date for purchasing tokens from designated branches, data entry and generation of Admit
8 Cards is Thursday, 30th June, 2022.

When ECTA 2022 Result will be announced?

The official result of the Entrance Test will be declared, on the admission portal, at midnight on 28th July 2022.

A candidate who misses the Entrance Test in the allotted center during the allotted time slot will not be permitted to retake the exam. Since the test is fully automated, no re-checking facility will be provided.
