Kingdom of Saudia Arabia KSA is a vast job market for Skilled Workers belonging to Asian countries Especially from Pakistan. Hundred of thousands of skilled workers are currently working in the Kingdom. Recently Saudia Arabia launches Skill Verification Scheme for the assessment of the skilled workforce. This assessment is under the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC). The Takamol Skill Verification Program (SVP) was conducted at Hazza Institute of Technology (HIT) on Wednesday 2 November 2022.
A total of 88 candidates with the required skill set of five trades, including building electrician, welding, auto electrician, plumbing, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), appeared in the skill verification program.
The Management of NAVTTC visited the assessment center to oversee the theoretical and practical tests of skilled workers. Under the verification scheme, Pakistani skilled Workers can get contracts directly from Saudi companies without a sponsor. Skilled Verification Program SVP Saudia Arabia is working with NAVTTC to verify the workers’ skills and ensure a longer market engagement in the Kingdom.
The Skilled Workers in Pakistan need to go for Practical and Theoretical tests in assessment centers before applying for a Saudia Arabia visa. Pakistan is the first Asian nation to benefit from the SVP scheme for skilled workers. Under the newly launched program. If any Pakistani skilled worker will apply for a visa without an assessment from NAVTTC, his visa will be rejected. In order to get a work visa, skilled workers can register on the NAVTTC at www.svp.navttc.gov.pk. The SVP will enable the Pakistani skilled workforce to have authentic and internationally recognized joint certification by both Takamol Saudi Arabia and NAVTTC Pakistan through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment.
To meet the necessities and for the ease of Talented Specialists, around Twelve assessment habitats have been laid out in a joint effort with Pakistan’s NAVTTC in eight unique urban communities to direct tests.
