Punjab Govt Lifts Ban on New Hiring Thousands of Jobs will be Announced

Finally CM Punjab Chaudry Pervaiz Elahi instructed to lift the ban on new hiring in various departments across the Province. Around 30,000 new vacancies will be announced in various departments of the Punjab Government.

Few months ago soon Chaudry Pervaiz Elahi take oath of Chief Minister, and he announced to ban on all new recruitments other than those which are announced through Punjab Public Service Commission. The Government of Punjab issued a notification on 29th July 2022 , to halt all new recruitments in Punjab.

Last month it was announced to hire 16000 Educators, the summary of which has been sent to the CM Office for approval. As there was a ban on all recruitments so the summary was pending approval. Now as Government announced to lift of the ban, it is expected that soon the summary will be signed by CM the educator’s vacancies will be advertised in the newspaper.

The Provincial Minister of Education, Murad Ras tweeted to announce it and added that he was thankful for the chance to create fresh opportunities for the youth.

Different departments and projects will hire candidates for Grades Base Pay Scales (BPS) 01 to 05 while recruitments for above BPS-05 will require approval from a sub-committee.

Chaudry Pervaiz Elahi took the oath of Chief Minister on 27 July 2022. He is the 19th Chief Minister of the Punjab Assembly. Chief Minister of the Punjab is elected by the MPA’s of the house. Chuardy Pervaiz Elahi belong to the PML ( Q) and strong allies of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf. Chaudry Pervaiz Elahi also served as a CM from 29 November 2022 to 18 November 2007.
