Punjab Govt Increases School Fee from 20 Rs. to 100 Rs. Per Month. According to the official notification from Punjab School Education Department Farogh – E-Taleem Fund FTF for public schools is increased to Rs. 100/- per month.

In continuation of the letter dated 6th May 2011 keeping in view the current inflation status, the School Education Department has approved an increase in FTF from 20 Rs to 100 Rs. per month from all classes in English Medium schools. The purpose is to improve the quality of education by meeting with requirements of teaching-learning services.

The competent authorities have approved that Heads of the Schools will be authorized to collect the Farog – E – Taleem fund and exempt 10% of the enrollment of respective classes from payment of FTF on the basis of poverty / low-income parents.

The current fund amount is Rs.20/- per month for each student. This will increase to 100 Rs P.M. due to the current economic and inflation status.

Notification is circulated to all Deputy Commissioners of Punjab, the Deputy Director ( Monitoring) School Education Department, the PS to Secretary SED, and the Director of Public Instructions ( SE / EE) Punjab.
