Punjab Government has announced winter vacations in all schools under the Literacy and Non-Formal Education Department from 28th December 2022 to 6th January 2023. All Schools will remain closed due to the harsh weather and cold.
The official notification of winter vacations is issued on 27th December 2022. This notification says that in view of the increasingly harsh weather, the winter vacations are announced from 28th December to 6th January 2023.

The Literacy and nonformal education department is a separate department from Punjab School Education Department. Therefore, these vacations are announced for only the Literacy department.
Punjab School Education Department has already announced winter vacations from 24th December 2022 till 31st December 2022.
