Punjab Government School Education Department has announced winter vacations in all public and private schools of the province. Winter vacations will start on 24 December 2022 and will end on 31 December 2022.
1st January 2023 is on Sunday so it will be also a holiday. In total there will be a total of 9 winter holidays. Schools in Punjab will reopen on 2 January 2023.
25th December is also a holiday for Quaid e Azam Day and Christmas celebrations. Students and teachers both will be on holiday during these winter vacations in Punjab.
Official Notification says that consequent upon approval of Competent Authority it is hereby notified that winter vacations in all Public and Private Schools in the province of Punjab will be observed with effect from 24 December 2022 to 31 December 2022.
All Schools (Public and Private) shall re-open on Monday, 2. January 2023 resuming a full and routine normal week for all classes however, the restrictions regarding wearing of face Masks within school promises shall remain intact.
