Petrol and Diesel Prices will raise again Tweet by Miftah Ismail

Federal Minister of Finance Miftah Ismail tweeted about the Govt decision not rising the petrol and Diesel prices. He said that although govt did not raise the prices of fuel but this decision can not be sustained longer.

In his tweet on 16 April 2022, he says that the decision announced last night to continue petrol and diesel subsidies was a tough one and will have to be revisited. At the moment the government is losing Rs 21 per litre on petrol and Rs 52 per litre on diesel. That’s a loss of Rs 3600 crore in 2 weeks.

So from this tweet, we can get an idea of next prices of petrol & diesel as he said that govt is losing 21 PKR on per litre against petrol & 52 PKR per litre against diesel price.
