New timings and Opening of Schools in Punjab after Summer Vacations

Punjab School Education Department has announced the opening of schools in Punjab after summer vacations on 1st August 2022.

There are some rumors on social media about the extension of summer vacations up to 14th August 2022 due to flood in Punjab but according to the ARY news govt has rejected and ordered to open the schools from 1st August 2022 with the start of the new academic session. No Extension in Summer vacations in Punjab.

New School Timings in Punjab

New School timings will be followed as they were before summer vacations. Girl’s Schools will start and close 15 minutes before Boy’s Schools.

School timings are 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday to Thursday & Saturday while On Friday School timings will be 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Double Shift School timings are 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday to Thursday & Saturday while On Friday School timings will be 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. These timings are for Morning Shifts in Double Shift Schools.

Double Shift School timings are 12:30 PM to 04:30 PM on Monday to Thursday & Saturday while On Friday School timings will be 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. These timings are for Evening Shifts in Double Shift Schools.
