According to the latest news, due to Security threat in Punjab, the Ministry of Interior is considering the closure of all educational institutions across the Province from 25th January to 28th January 2024.
The Ministry of Interior has sent its request to the Punjab government and informed about the threat. The Education Department has also sent a recommendation to keep schools closed to the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Final approval will be given by Chief Minister Punjab And 90 percent hope that the notification will be received today or tomorrow. We will update the notification here as soon as it circulates officially.
Earlier a day ago, three major Universities in Islamabad suddenly closed due to security threats. However Inspector General of Islamabad police stated that the law and order situation in the Capital is under control and they are monitoring all entrance points.
