KPK Budget 2022-23 All You Need to Know

KPK Budget FY 2022-23 unveiled by the Finance Minister Taimoor Aslam Jhagra. The Budget 2022-23 is presented on 13 June 2022. The budget volume of the province is Rs. 13 trillion 32 billion for the new financial year.

The increase in Salaries of the KPK Government employees is 16%. It is proposed to allocate Rs 447.9 billion in salaries. The Pay rise is in addition to DRA for Grade 1 to 19 employees. The expenditure of the Merged District will be Rs. 222 billion and 90 Crore. The budget proposes to set aside Rs 107 billion in pensions.

The budget for the next financial year proposes 2239 development projects for the province. The Provincial Government will release 92% of the development fund for ongoing Projects and spend 8% on new projects. The budget includes a proposal to set aside Rs 26 billion for poverty alleviation projects. The Rs. 1.1 billion has been allocated to overcome and struggle with COVID – 19 and Polio . 10 billion 30 crore rupees will be kept in the subsidy price for the province.

This KPK Budget is the only Budget that is prepared and presented by PTI Government. In the rest of the Province, Budgets are prepared by the new Coalition Government.

KPK employees’ salaries are increased by 16 %. While for pensions KPK employees, it is proposed to keep 107 billion funds for Pensions.
