KP Govt announces Winter Vacations for Schools

KP Govt announces winter vacations for schools after taking a u-turn from their previous notification. In the previous notification winter vacations were canceled due to the short time to cover the syllabus.

Now today on 24th December 2022 KP Education department has announced winter vacations for schools for both the winter zone and the summer zone.

The elementary and Secondary Education Department, Government Of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced a new notification for winter vacations in schools.

In view of the abrupt and unusual change in the weather condition, this department notification of even number dated 22-12-2022 regarding winter vacations may be read as under.

SUMMER ZONE IN KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA

Winter Vacation 25th December 2022 to 1. January 2023.

WINTER ZONE IN KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA

Winter Vacation 25th December 2022 to 15th February 2023.

Hence after this notification, all schools in KP will remain closed from 25th December 2022. Summer zone schools will reopen on 2nd January 2023. Winter zone schools will reopen on 16th February 2023.
