Islamabad Health Champion Competition for School Children’s

The Federal Govt is going to contest an event titled as ” Islamabad Health Champions” among the school children in the Islamabad Capital Territory ( ICT). The objective of the campaign and competition is to bring awareness and educate teachers and school children about healthy lifestyles.

According to the ICT Deputy Commissioner Mr. Irfan Nawaz Memon, the goal of the project is to educate teachers and people about the need of choosing nutritious food and meals for children at a young age.

Health specialists and nutrition teams will visit the schools and guide the children about healthy foods and provide a healthy diet plan which they should adopt in their lives. Not only teachers but parents should also focus on the diet of their kids. This month-long competition will start on 5 February.

For motivational purposes children aged 5-16 will participate in different fitness challenges to become ” Islamabad Health Champions.”. All contests, he noted, will be held in conformity with the criteria established by the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) and Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).

The competition will begin on 5 February and finish on 5 March. Schools and Institutions who want to be a part will be able to register till 31 January. The winner will be awarded a certificate and prizes.

Such kinds of competitions are very important and bring positive change and awareness among children. Parents should also need focus on nutritious food to provide for the young. The ICT Administration team will take care of this competition.
