BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The incumbent of this position is responsible for programming, operations and oversight of five Lincoln Corners (LC) in
the Islamabad consular district. S/he guides and supports the Lincoln Corner Coordinators and works to ensure that the
Corners meet Lincoln Corners (LC) standards on programming, management and physical appearance. S/he develops and
carries out innovative programming strategies, supports renovation projects, prepares budget, and writes support funds
requests, as appropriate. S/he also acts as Grants Officer Representative (GOR) for property and other grants as assigned.

1. EDUCATION: Completion of University degree in management, international relations, education, public relations or
2. EXPERIENCE: At least two years of professional experience in management, international relations, education,
public relations or social sciences is required.
3. LANGUAGE: Level IV (Fluent) Reading/Writing/Speaking of English and Urdu are required. English Language
skills will be tested.
4. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Incumbent should possess strong cross-cultural communication skills and be able to interact
and work effectively with Americans and Pakistanis of all levels. Ability to oversee multi-site, multi-function operations
and maintain frequent and close contact with target audiences and contacts. Incumbent should have good public speaking
skills. S/he should possess project management and customer service skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail
and ability to multi-task. Ability to independently plan and organize multiple events for the public and carry out assigned
responsibilities. Ability to work in a busy environment and manage multiple priorities. Must be a team player and
exercise good judgment.
5. KNOWLEDGE: Good general understanding of Pakistani government structures, non-government organizations,
education, technology and media. Understanding of the U.S. higher education system and familiarity with U.S.
government, culture, society and values is required. Knowledge of strategic planning and program management, and
strong customer service orientation is required. Should possess knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Familiarity with Facebook and other social media applications.
