Here is an important announcement for the closing Time of Markets in Punjab to save electricity. According to the news sources & official notification CM Punjab Hamza Shahbaz has announced the new timings for markets & other businesses to save electricity usage.

In order to save energy, Chief Minister Hamza also announced that markets in Punjab will be closed from 9 am tomorrow, wedding halls will be closed at 10 am and restaurants at 11:30 am.

There will be no specific timings for Saturday. In the week, 1 Day will be off either Friday or Sunday.

After Sindh to save energy, Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz has also announced to close the bazaar from 9 am tomorrow. Wedding halls will be closed at 10 am and restaurants will be closed at 11:30 am. The bazaars will be reopened early in the morning. The Punjab government has issued a notification to close the markets across the province at 9 pm.

Business leaders and representatives from across the province have met Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz. In his statement after the meeting, Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz said that markets, bazaars and business centers across Punjab would be closed at 9 pm, restaurants would remain open till 11:30 pm and wedding halls would remain open till 10 pm.

A list has been drawn up to close 63 commercial markets in the provincial capital. A report has been submitted on how much electricity is being used in commercial markets after 9 pm. In Lahore, 361 MW is being used on commercial feeders after 9 pm. Sources said that LESCO is talking about closing commercial feeders in pack hours. After the federation, it has been decided to close commercial feeders all over Punjab including Lahore. A total of 63 markets in Lahore will be closed after 9 pm.
