HEC Issued a Public Alert to Beware of Attestation Agents

The Higher Education Commission HEC is a Governing body that controls all higher educational institutions and Universities. All degrees should be approved and attested by HEC mean, the final authentication from the Country Education governing body. Usually, students applying for scholarships, a study abroad, and overseas jobs required attested degrees from HEC. The process to get the attestation from HEC is pre-defined by HEC.

Recently it has been brought to the knowledge of HEC that some individuals posing as agents offer to assist applicants in getting their degrees and transcripts attested. In some cases, these individuals cheat the applicants by pasting fake HEC stamps/tickets on original degrees and transcripts. All such degrees and transcripts with fake stamps are liable to be confiscated when submitted to HEC.

All concerned are advised to be extremely careful in this matter, and follow the prescribed procedure for attestation instead of engaging potentially fraudulent agents.
