Heatwave Alert in Pakistan for the Next 5 Days up to 9 June 2022 has been issued by PMA and PDMA Punjab. Pakistan Meteorological Department has informed that the day temperatures are likely to remain unusually high in most parts of the country during the next 4 to 5 days.

Day Temperatures in country including Punjab and other provinces are expected to be high. Dust storms may also occur after noon or evening during the period.

The heat wave is likely to be followed by a rain spell in the upper and central parts of the country.

This heatwave can damage the agriculture sector.

People should avoid outside activities and try to stay at home.

People should adopt precautionary measures to avoid heat strokes.
