The Federal Govt of Pakistan has made an announcement through an official letter by the Interior ministry about two holidays on Monday & Tuesday i.e 8 and 9 August 2022.
In this letter, it is said that in continuation of Cabinet Division’s circular No. 10-01/2021-Min-il dated 17″ December, 2021, it is for general information that the Prime Minister is pleased to declare 8th to 9th August, 2022 (Monday & Tuesday) as public holidays on the occasion of Ashura.
