In a recent notification No. SO ( CTC)SGA&CD3(65)2009 issued by Services, General Administration & Coordination Department Govt of Sindh a Public Holiday is announced on 4th April 2023.
The government of Sindh declares 4th April 2023 ( Tuesday) a public holiday across the Province on account of the “44” Martyrdom Anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. Mr. Bhutto was Ex- the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
All offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, schools, colleges, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the Sindh government will remain closed on 4th April 2023. However essential services like hospitals, and emergency services will continue their work.
It is worth noting that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was the founder of the Pakistan Peoples Party and currently in Sindh PPP is the only party in Government and the ally of PDM.
