FPSC Special CSS 2022 Advance Public Notice

CSS stands for Central Superior Services in Pakistan. The CSS Officers are also known as bureaucrats. Federal Public Service Commission has made an announcement of Special CSS Examinations.

Special CSS Examinations 2022 are going to be held once only. There will be no repetition of Special CSS every year like general CSS.

Special CSS Examinations are for those vacancies which remained unfilled through CSS Competitive Examination over the last many years.

Special CSS Tentative dates to remember

Online Applications for MCQs Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for Special CSS Competitive Examination.	10^th to 26^th December 2022
Conduct of MPT & Posting of Answer Key on the Web	31″ January 2023 (Tuesday)
Announcement of MPT Result	15^th February 2023
Public Notice for Written CSS Special Competitive Examination	19^th February 2023 (Sunday)
Receipt of online applications from MPT Qualifiers	19^th February to 5^th March, 2023
Receipt of Hardcopy of online applications along with documents from MPT Qualifiers	Up till 15^th March 2023
Written CSS Special Examination (commencement date)	4^th May 2023 (Thursday)

Who is Eligible

The Special CSS Competitive Examination shall be held for the following provincial/ regional quotas only. Therefore, candidates of only the following regions/ quotas will be eligible to apply.

KPK	Women + Minorities
AJK	Minorities only
Sindh (R)	Open for all candidates
Sindh (U)	Open for all candidates
Balochistan	Open for all candidates
Ex-FATA	Open for all candidates

Age Limits and Chances for Special Competitive Examination

The upper age limit will be 32 years (vide Rule 22 of the rules ibid). Two years of relaxation in the upper age limit to the categories specified in Rule 6(2) would also be admissible. For the Special CSS Exam, one additional/ fourth chance would be admissible.

The cut-off date to determine eligibility in terms of age, qualification, domicile, etc. shall be 31 December 2022. For more details visit FPSC’s Official Website fpsc.gov.pk.

MPT Test for Special CSS by FPSC

A screening test MCQs Based Preliminary test (MPT) shall be held prior to written CSS Special Exam. Qualifying the prescribed MCQs-based Preliminary Test (MPT) shall be mandatory for appearing in Main Written Special CSS Competitive Examination. Fee for MPT will be Rs. 250/- (Non-Refundable).
