The Federal Govt of Pakistan fixes new office hours for public offices and institutes in the upcoming Holy month of Ramazan and in Summer Season.
According to the renowned TV channel, this decision is made in an Austerity Committee meeting held on Monday chaired by Finance Minister Mr. Ishaq Dar.
It is decided that office hours in Ramazan will be from 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM. While on Friday followed by 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM. The same working hours will be in the summer season.

The Holy month of Ramazan is likely to begin on 24 April 2023. The main purpose of reducing timings is to reduce the burden of work for fasting employees.
The educational sector will also reduce the timings in order to reduce the burden of work for fasting students, and also reduce the homework for students.
Yet official notification is to be announced by Federal Government, but it is decided yesterday in a meeting headed by Mr. Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.
