Budget FY 2022-23 Impact on Agriculture Sector

Pakistan Government presented the Budget FY 2022-23 on Friday on the floor of the Parliament. The Finance Minister Mr. Miftah Ismail proudly presented the Budget and he said ” he is proud to lead from the front to present the Financial Budget of first-ever coalition Government. As the budget impacts various sectors and pillars of the Economy. Here we will see what is good in this budget for Agriculture Sector.

Zaro Sales tax on Agriculture Machinery including Tractors, wheat, rice, seeds, and distribution
Rs. 21 billion for Cattle and Crops Sector improvement.
Rs. 11 billion reserved for Agriculture.

It is good news for farmers, as in the last few months, the prices of agriculture machinery especially Tractors prices cross the One million. This step in the budget will bring a positive change in the lives of the farmers.
